| Thank
you very much for being our tour guide on our grad trip. We all had
a great time! The whale watching was really cool. You were the best
tour guide in Quebec City. It
was really fun in the hotels in Quebec City and Tadoussac at night
when we ran into each other’s rooms. I really had fun on the
Sand Dunes, running up and down them! You said that we were all
out of shape and then you ran down and tried to run up it, that
was really funny because you couldn’t do it! Ha ha ha!
The trip wouldn’t
have been as fun if you never came! You rule!!!
Thank you very much!!!
Justine D.
How’s it
going? I wanted to thank you for putting up with us on our grad
trip. You being there made it a little bit more special.
Thanks for telling us
a few quick facts about Quebec and its history. I learned a lot
more about the capital. Also I’d like to thank you for letting
us roll down the hill at the Citadelle.
Yours sincerely,
Jennifer S.
Thanks for coming
on our grad trip with us! I had a great time. Before the trip, I
thought having a guide was going to be boring. Boy was I ever wrong!!!
The minute I got on the bus, I knew that this was going to be an
extraordinary trip. I was right. This is a trip that will never
be forgotten. Thanks again for coming on our trip, and I hope you
can come visit us before the end of the school year.
Yours sincerely,
Jeannie K.
Thank you a lot for being my classmates’
and I tour guide. I’m positive that if we had another tour guide,
we wouldn’t have gone to the Insectarium, or the MV Montreal
because the other tour guides wouldn’t have enough courage to
leave the other “fun” places like the Laser Dome or the
Biodome. What I’m trying to say is you’re a person who
can deal with other people’s complaints, disagreements and bad
attitudes and keeping your cool. That’s why I think that my
parents would make a bad tour guide because if somebody fools around
and annoys them, it’s hard for them to keep their cool.
I’m also glad we
had you as a tour guide because you know your way around Montreal.
I’m sure if it was a self guided trip we would get lost. None
of us live in Montreal like you do, Martin. You brought us placed
where I could learn a lot and share what I’ve learned with
other people and most of all, enjoyed. Thank you Martin, and I hope
you give next year’s sixth graders the opportunities you gave
us.
From,
Alex C.
Thank you for being
our tour guide in Montreal. I had a great time.
My favorite part of the
trip was the Laser Dome and the Olympic Tower. The Laser Dome was
fun because we played in a dark maze. The Olympic Tower was fun
because it was really high and you could look over the whole city.
I got a lot of pictures there.
I liked eating at the
Altitude. I liked the soup the best. I also liked Vichi’s
because it was a buffet. I did like the fried shrimp. That is my
favorite sea food. Fried shrimp is what I have every year when my
family and I go to Maine.
Thank you again for being
our guide. I hope the future 6th grade classes get you for a tour
guide.
From,
Laura
I am writing this
letter to thank you for taking us around Montreal. I really enjoyed
going. I had a lot of fun.
One of the things I enjoyed
doing was playing Laser Tag. The way it was shaped like a maze made
it really challenging. I also liked how you could play more than
one game.
I also enjoyed going to
the restaurant, Altitude. I thought it was cool because you could
see a lot of Montreal because it was so high up. I like how you
could see spotlights going around. It took me a while to realize
that the lights were coming from the building we were in.
I also really like Space
Camp. It was really neat seeing all those cool simulators. Although
I didn’t get to go on one, it was fun watching other people
use them.
Thank you again for taking
time out of your everyday life to take us around Montreal.
Sincerely,
Karen B
I would like to
thank you for organizing and being our (6th graders and chaperones)
tour guide during our extremely fun and fact filled excursion to
the city of Montreal, Canada.
All of the stops were
great, but there were three that really stuck out for me: Notre
Dame, Laser Tag and the Altitude restaurant.
Notre Dame I think had
to be my favorite. I think this was the case because there is nothing
that even comes close to comparing with it in Vermont, and even
the United States. I couldn’t believe the architecture and
all the fine details that were in the Cathedral. I thought those
immense pillars were amazing!
The Altitude restaurant
was also really cool. There are a lot of skyscrapers in Montreal.
Even though I didn’t love some of the food courses, I enjoyed
eating so high up.
Laser Tag was also quite
fun; I think everyone who played like it a lot. When the last year’s
6th graders returned, they all said that Laser Tag was definitely
a major highlight for them. I really hoped we would have a chance
to go. I already had an image in my mind of what it would look like.
When we got there it was just like I thought it would be.
I thought you were a great
tour guide and I hope you will be next year’s guide also.
Thanks a lot!
Sincerely,
Dylan R.
Thank you very
much for showing us Montreal. It was very fun. My favorite places
were the Laser Dome and the Biodome. My favorite restaurant was
Tour de Ville. It was fun because it turned. It also had very good
food.
I hope next year’s
sixth graders have as much fun as I did. The only thing is, I heard
about an insect museum in Montreal with cockroaches five inches
long! That might be fun for them. Other than that, I wouldn’t
change anything on the trip. (Except maybe add a few more day).
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Jonathan H.
I really liked
our trip and all the things we saw in Quebec and Tadoussac. I really
enjoyed you being there, it was really fun and exciting. My favorite
part of the trip was the sand dunes and the Huron Village. Thank
you for a wonderful time.
PS - I hope you can come
to our school sometime and I hope you don’t mind my spelling.
From,
Jason L.-B.
Thank you for giving
my classmates and I a tour of Montreal and its outskirts.
I enjoyed all the attractions,
but especially liked Q-Zar or the Laser Dome. I enjoyed the whole
experience of the Villa Mariot restaurant, and I also liked using
Canadian money because it was different.
If I was only to go to
Montreal for one day, I would go to the Notre Dame, the lower dome
and all the other stuff that you took us to.
Thank you again for planning
the 6th grade trip to Montreal. I appreciate you taking your time
to teach us about Montreal’s history.
Sincerely,
Matthew E.
Thank you for being
our tour guide. It was very nice of you to take time out of your
schedule. I liked the things you planned.
I really liked the Old
Port. It was fun seeing the different places at Old Port. I liked
how the lady who dressed up as a nurse. I also liked the boat ride.
The Notre Dame was cool.
I liked the regular church part. I also liked the chapel part. I
also thought the stars were cool.
The Laser Dome was really
fun. I probably recharged more than anyone. I also got a lot of
people. I never got their goal.
My favorite part was Space
Camp. I was the first girl to win by getting fully back. What was
your favorite part? I really enjoyed my self in Montreal and I hope
you did too.
Sincerely,
Jessica M.
Thank you for bringing
us around Montreal. I had a lot of fun.
My favorite things were
the Laser Dome, Olympic Stadium, Biodome and dinner with the buffets.
I liked Laser Tag because I like that kind of stuff. I liked all
the things I got at the Olympic Stadium. I love animals so I was
happy that we went to the Biodome and dinner was just plain fun.
Thank you again and I
hope you give the tour to the next 6th graders, I think they would
like you.
Sincerely,
Connor
I really enjoyed
your company on the tour of Montreal. My favorite part of your company
was your sense of humor.
You taught me a lot of
new stuff about the history of old and new Montreal. I also liked
your helpful tips with playing laser tag. Like don’t waste
your lasers on the people, and use it on the other opponents base.
I learned a ton of helpful
hints and facts. Thanks a bunch.
My favorite parts of being
in Montreal were the Laser Dome, Space Camp and the restaurant the
Altitude.
Thanks again for pushing
your time away for us and doing the tour.
Sincerely,
Amanda F.
You were a good
tour guide when we were in Montreal. You made things fun for us.
The things I liked best
were the Laser Dome and Space Camp. That was fun and I hope you
had a good time too.
I didn’t think the
hotel roof would have a brook, trees, flowers. It was nice and the
pool was big.
Thank you for being the
tour guide. I hope next year’s 6th graders have you for a
tour guide. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Jenny C.
I enjoyed having
you as a tour guide. I thought that you did a good job explaining
where things were and the events that were held in it. I think that
you are really good at laser tag. I am glad you were on my team.
If I was to go back to Montreal city with a group, I would choose
you got a tour guide. When you asked my room number and I didn’t
know, well now I do. It is 1223. I hope you had as much fun as my
group. I think the best part of all was laser tag.
Sincerely,
Stevie M.
Thank you so much
for coming along on our grad trip. It was really fun! I had a good
time. THANK YOU!
Your truly,
Brahim
Thank you very,
very, very much for being brave enough to come on the trip with
us. My favorite part was the sand dunes!! I’m still full of
sand!
Thanks so much,
Kelsey
Thank Martin for
helping us with our GRAD TRIP! We had a lot of fun with you and
I liked when you danced on the bus. You made it exciting on the
bus, like flashing lights and old kinds of music; what I never heard
in my like except maybe I heard it once or twice. I will never forget
this trip in my life.
Your sincerely,
John L.
Yo, wuz up. How
are you doing? We are graduating on Friday. In school we are doing
nothing, we are just playing games. We all miss you. I hope you
enjoyed yourself on the trip, I did, without you the trip would
be boring but we had a lot of fun. I will never forget you.
Your friend,
Anthony P.
I would like to
thank you for coming with us on our grad trip. I had lots of fun
and really enjoyed your funny jokes and funky dancing.
I think that our grad
trip wouldn’t be the same without you touring us around Quebec
City and Tadoussac. Anyway, thanks again for coming with us.
Yours sincerely,
Patrick A.
Thank you for being
our tour guide. Thank you for helping me with my eye. It was very
fun with you on the bus. It was fun when we listened to music and
you danced. I wish that we can go again next year with you. It was
fun when we went whale watching. Thank you Martin. You rock all
the way!

Jade G.
Thank you for being
our tour guide for our ‘grad-trip’. It was a trip that
will never be forgotten. Your funny jokes, and you dances up and
down the aisles, made our bus ride a little less boring. By the
end of our trip, we were all experts on Quebec and Tadoussac because
of you. Thanks again for an experience that we’ll never forget.
Sincerely,
Kathy R.
Thank you for being
a great tour guide. We had a wonderful time. I would also like to
thank you for telling us about all the things in Quebec. You were
sooo funny! It was funny when you and Miss S. tried to run down
the hill and back up. Well anyway, thank you sooo much!!
From,
Nathalie L.
Thank you very
much for coming on our trip with us! IT WAS A BLAST!!! You are the
coolest ever! We had a really good time with you! The whale watching
was really fun!! I remember in Tadoussac when you got that awful
lunch in a box…yuck…was that bad, but we pigged out
on our roommates’ snacks!!
I was so fun at the sand
dunes, remember when you and Tracy raced down the hill because you
thought we were out of shape? HA HA HA!!
Martin, if you weren’t
on this trip…….It would have been bad!!! J
Thank you very much,
Laura H.
I wrote this letter
to thank you for a great time my classmates and I had. I really
like having you as our tour guide. I hope you had a good time too.
I really had fun at the
Biodome because I liked the animals that were in there. I really
liked the worlds largest rodent.
My favorite part was the
Olympic tower. I liked it because we could look off for miles and
miles at the top and it was really high. The fun part was when we
came up the tower and went down.
My second favorite activity
was laser tag. It was so fun! I wish we did it for the whole day.
My dad said that he did pretty good. He took all the hits for his
team.
Thank you for the great
time we all had. I hope the sixth graders have you for a tour guide
next year.
Sincerely,
Ryan D.
