Who Are We? MPO Educational Travel is an educational tour operator. We are a member of TICO (Travel Industry Council of Ontario), ACTA (Association of Canadian Travel Agencies) and SYTA (Student Youth Travel Association). TICO is an organization mandated by the Ontario Government to administer the Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002, which governs approximately 3,000 travel retailers and travel wholesalers registered in Ontario. ACTA's Code of Ethics and Standards encourages members to provide the highest quality of travel services to the public and stipulates guidelines for relations between ACTA members. SYTA is a non-profit, professional trade association whose mission is to promote and support integrity and professionalism among student and youth travel service providers and to promote quality student/youth travel services that enhance social, cultural, and educational growth. MPO now has celebrated more than 10 years in business! Within those years, we have moved over 100,000 students across Canada and the United States. The owners have geography degrees and have worked in the industry for many years allowing the highest educational content possible in our educational trips.   What We Do? We provide expert guidance and assistance in helping educators customize their itineraries, selecting the educational tours and activities that best suit the purpose of the trip as well as the needs of the students. Our goal is not only to ensure that the students learn and experience the most out of their trip, but as well, for the benefit of the educators, we remove all the hassles of organizing the trip. Through the use of our Travel Guide (also available on-line) and our services, educators can locate the appropriate information and activities needed to make their trip a success. Our clients consists of schools, with teachers from French, music, science to band teachers, scout groups, church youth groups, etc. who are all interested in having an educational experience with their students. Our clients desire customized trips that adapt to their needs, that will work on their budget and that will match their curriculum. Our trips include interactive/hands-on activities and educational (but fun!) activities that can be enjoyed by everyone, even the adults!   Staff Our guides are mature and fun people, who have many years of experience with students. We also have friendly personable office staff who are always accessible and who are more than happy to assist you, before, during and after a trip. We work to ensure that your trip is a fun, educational and memorable experience for all involved!
